It's a God Thing: True Stories from a Homeless Shelter
Want a heart-lift today? Do you want to be inspired by caring people taking seriously God's commandment to feed the poor, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless? Open the first page of IT?S A GOD THING and you will want to stay to the end. The co-authors share how God moved upon the hearts of ordinary Christian people to open a mission in a rural community with little financial resource. The vision grew to include several missions developed by Community Outreach Centers, Inc. These touching, challenging, sometimes humorous short stories are true accounts of God's intervention time after time when needs were critical. This is a book about broken lives being healed, encouraged, renewed?hope restored, and love demonstrated day in and day out. IT?S A GOD THING is a blue print for those considering outreach missions or anyone seeking God about a similar call.
